Near a border garrison, there was a young man. By a truce pact, one
hour of peace had arrived. His foster sister Nanami waits
on a street of their hometown, Kyaro. Being able to meet her again
after so much time will be pure joy. The boy was leisurely
chewing on those thoughts.
A tent flap lifted, and another young man appeared. Childhood friend,
companion, and friend. Joey begins to smile. "Already
changed? You're an early riser, eh?"
He too was looking forward to tomorrow's return to their hometown.
Toward the future he held no anxieties or fear in his
smiling face. The gears of destiny turn slowly.... But they will certainly
continue to turn. Even the memories of many people
cannot detain them.
That whas the storyline in Suikoden II. After the first succes with
Genso Suikoden Konami has wored allot more on this one. Now you can grow
your food, buy food on the resturants (a detail wich I missed in the first
game) go to a big market where all the items from every shops are, so you
dont need to rush aroun d the world looking for a item that you saw
"somewhere around here..."
You will still be able to be six fighters in a battle and the unit attacks will still be there. About 1/3 of the original characters from the first game show up in the second. Even hero McDohl!
If you have a memory card with savings from Suikoden, (first game) you can use them to have the items that you had in the first and get your stars in the level they were when you finished the first game. And if you have Gremio resseructed on your memory card, you can get him to in Suikoden II too.
