The Burning Land: Chapter 2
 

When Hix, Pahn and Cleo came back with five newcatched Killer Rabbits, it whas already afternoon. Outside Leeknats tower stood Alen and Kazim Hazil. They didnt seem very happy.
”Hix!” Alen shouted. Hix gave his rabbit to Cleo and went to meet with Kazim and Alen.
”Your majesty,” Kazim said ”You can not run away like that. Dont you understand that you now have duties? You are the emperor, for God´s sake!” Alen agreed. ”If this happens again, well have to tie you up.” Hix shaked his head. ”Whats wrong with going of hunting? There are nothing to do anyway that needs an emperor.”
Kasim wawed with his hands and went off.
Alen looked at Hix. ”My room, now.” Then he went away. hix walked to Alen´s room, and when he opened the door, Alen already were there.
”What is it, Alen?” Hix sat down on one of the chairs.
Alen sat down in the one opposite to Hix. ”We have a bad situation.”
”What is it?” Hix asked. ”I whas on my way geting to that, dont interupt.” Alen said and looked at the painting behind Hix.
”There have been small battles at Moravia castle. The Jowstown army is attacking us.”
Hix raised. ”Sit down!” Alen shouted and Hix almost flew into the chair. ”The Jowstown army had 10.000 men at the latest attack. Our forces are three days from Mioravia, and we only have around 5.000 men in Moravia. Just 500 of them can handle bows, so they wont be able to hold stand againt the Jowstown army any longer. Now we need advise what to do.”
Hix thoughed. ”What about the Dragon Knights?”
Alen looked troubled. ”They have a major problem. Their dragons wont leave the cave. They have tried everything.”
”Then I have no idea.” Hix raised slowly, to see if Alen would shout at him again. He didnt.
”Then let me come with a suggestion, your majesty.” Alen stood up.
”Let me hear it.” Hix looked straight into Alen´s eyes. They were deaply troubled.
